International School of Tanganyika

The International School of Tanganyika is a private day school in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Currently there are more than 450 students from almost 60 different nationalities speaking nearly 20 different languages enrolled in Secondary school. The school takes great pride the quality of its services, and in particular with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO)'s Diploma Programe. IST was one of the first IB schools in Africa, and is still the largest on this continent.
The secondary campus comprises of more than thirty classroms, seven science laboratories, three computer laboratories, a multi-media library, four art rooms and much more. This allows the students to induldge in a whole variety of activites both during-, and after the school day. In addition the school has great outdoor areas for sports and other activites, this includes a full-length swimming pool and a diving pool.
