I have long debated this issue with myself, on whether or not to have ads on my site. It's not like I'm planning on quit my job or anything like that, but more an experiment to see the potential of adding ads.

My initial plan was to try AdSense out for a month or two, we'll see what I do after that.

Point taken on the border around the ad, I'll do something about that.

I might have a strange way to think about adsense. I like to see that it's there, so that i can ignore it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problems with blogs (or ordinary websites) using adsense. It's a simple way to earn money, and if someone wants to earn a few bucks on the blog they use lots of time and resources to write, I prefer that they do it without popups and huge ad's like some sites have.

But what I'm trying to say is that i like the fact that it is very easy to see where the ad is. This lets me ignore it if I don't want to see it, or click it if i want to help the author of the page.

You have integrated adsense really good in your page's design, it really looks good, but it makes the adsense look like a part of the page, something I, personally, don't like that much.

If you throw a border around it, it will be easier to see where the ad is.

Just my two cents.
