I never understand the seal which people have for bashing products they don’t like. Mac users bashing Windows users bashing Mac users, Creative fans going at iPod users goint on about the failures of Muze…..
The iPod’s dirty little secret is that the battery replacement policy sucks, but that anyone can get a replacement battery lasting twice as long as the original batteries for 30$ being able to change the batteries themselves without much problems. I have done it, and so can you. My iPod is 3.5 years old now, and runs perfectly.
So what’s the problem?
1Personally I don’t have a problem with the iPod, however I do think it’s a bit puzzling that Apple doesn’t offer a better solution to such a problem. Batteries don’t last forever, quite the contrary; they don’t last very long at all.
I think it’s sad that they don’t have a better solution as the current one nurishes the idea of use » dispose » buy new.
At least it’s a good way to make bucket-loads of money…
